Earth — Mantle (Capture, Grineer cave containers)
Breaking the green-glowing resource containers in the Grineer cave tileset on this quick Capture run guarantees Neurodes, no boss or high level required.
Boosters don't apply: this spot is a container/deposit pickup, not an enemy drop.
Lua — Circulus (Void Storm/Fissure Survival, Steel Path)
One of the most popular full-squad Steel Path fissure farms; dense Sentient/Corpus enemy spawns drop Neurodes alongside Rubedo and relics.
Boosters help: this spot relies on enemy drop tables.
Early game
Neurodes have a very low chance to drop from regular enemies, so the wiki’s own advice is to hunt containers instead of grinding kills. Mantle on Earth (Capture) runs through the Grineer cave tileset, where the green-glowing resource containers reliably carry Neurodes — a short Capture that’s easy to repeat without needing a boss fight or an endless mission. Because it’s a container pickup, Resource Drop Boosters and the Steel Path drop-chance passive don’t apply here, so there’s no rush to save the farm for later. Other Earth nodes with the same Grineer caves (Mariana Exterminate, Tikal Excavation) work as secondary stops.
If you’d rather fight for them, Magnacidium on Deimos (Assassination, Lephantis) is one of the easiest boss-based sources, averaging 1-2 Neurodes per run and doubling as a good early-Deimos objective.
Mid & late game
Once a squad is running Steel Path, Circulus on Lua is one of the most popular full-squad farms in the game: it’s a Void Fissure Survival with dense Sentient and Corpus spawns that drops Neurodes alongside Rubedo, Ferrite, and relics, so it’s easy to find a public group for it. Because this farm is enemy drops rather than containers, Resourceful Retriever and Resource Drop Boosters meaningfully increase yield here.
Plato on Lua (Exterminate) is a solid alternative for a coordinated squad — it guarantees a Sentient spawn within the first couple of minutes — if Circulus matchmaking is slow.
