Ferrite

Ferrite farming guide

⚡ Early game

Mercury — Apollodorus (Survival)

The wiki calls this "probably one of the best ways to farm Ferrite" (4,000+ per 10-minute rotation); Ferrite pours from the enemies you kill, so a Nekros loot squad and a Resource Drop Booster push the numbers even higher.

Boosters help: this spot relies on enemy drop tables.

💀 Late / endgame

Earth — Tikal (Dark Sector Excavation, Steel Path)

A long Steel Path Excavation keeps enemies spawning against the excavators; Ferrite is a common enemy drop, so Steel Path density, a Resource Drop Booster and a loot frame all stack for a sustained squad farm.

Early game

Apollodorus on Mercury (Survival) is one of the best Ferrite spots at any gear level — the wiki calls it “probably one of the best ways to farm Ferrite,” citing over 4,000 per 10-minute rotation. Ferrite is a common enemy drop, so it pours off the Grineer you kill; a Nekros loot squad and a Resource Drop Booster push the numbers even higher, and popping the containers you pass is a nice bonus on top. M Prime (Extermination), also on Mercury, is a quick secondary stop when you just need a fast top-up.

Mid & late game

Once Steel Path is unlocked, Tikal on Earth (Dark Sector Excavation) is a strong endgame spot: a long Excavation keeps dense enemies spawning against the excavators, and Ferrite drops from every one of them. Because it’s an enemy drop, the Steel Path resource-drop passive, a Resource Drop Booster and a loot frame (Nekros/Khora) all stack — pair that with long run times and a squad that keeps the kill count high for the biggest hauls.
