Argon Crystal

Argon Crystal farming guide

⚡ Early game

Void — Hepit (Capture, Argon Deposits)

Every non-Defense Void tileset has ~2 static Argon Deposit containers worth 1-2 crystals each, no high level needed; remember they decay daily at 00:00 GMT.

Boosters don't apply: this spot is a container/deposit pickup, not an enemy drop.

💀 Late / endgame

Void — Mot (Survival, Steel Path)

Endless Void Survival lets a squad bank as many crystals as they can spend before the daily decay; Resourceful Retriever and boosters help enemy drops here.

Boosters help: this spot relies on enemy drop tables.

Early game

Argon Crystals only come from Argon Deposits — two static containers found in almost every non-Defense Void tileset, each worth 1-2 crystals. Hepit (Capture, levels 10-15) is a quick way to hit both deposits without needing a levelled squad. Because these are container pickups, Resource Drop Boosters and the Steel Path resource passive don’t apply to them — the only thing that matters is how many Void missions you can run. Remember that Argon Crystals decay: at 00:00 GMT every day, whatever’s still decaying gets cut in half, so don’t stockpile more than you’re about to spend.

Mid & late game

Mot on the Void (Survival, Steel Path) lets a squad bank as many crystals as they can before the next decay tick, since an endless Survival means repeated deposit spawns without resetting the mission. Enemy drops in the same mission (including anything picked up via Resourceful Retriever or a booster) still benefit from Steel Path’s passive even though the Argon Deposits themselves don’t. Corrupted Vor on his Assassination node is also worth remembering — he’s guaranteed to drop either an Orokin Cell or an Argon Crystal.
